Abstract: Andrey Nikolayevich Kolmogorov is the great mathematician whose life and scientific activity was related to Lomonosov Moscow State University. Kolmogorov was founder of probability theory and achieved distinguished results in various field of mathematics. Among his students there are distinguished mathematicians and statisticians: Yu. V. Prohorov, I. M. Gelfand, V. I. Arnold, A.V. Skorohod, B.V. Gnedenko, R. L. Dobrushin, A. N. Shiryayev, B. A. Sevastyanov, Ya. Sinay, Yu. K. Belyaev, V. M. Zolotarev and others.
